Renee’s key expertise is focused on the Information Technology industry where she has worked with some of the largest IT Service Providers in the country servicing major clients in both the Public and Private Sectors. She has significant experience in commercial contracting, major outsourcing agreements with some of South Africa’s largest listed entities, sale agreements for the acquisition and disposal of many strategic entities across various countries, and the operational restructuring of a complex, multi-layered and matrix organisation all while successfully dealing with the nuances of South Africa’s business challenges.

Ursula’s career spans over two decades, with extensive experience in corporate law, ICT transactions, and commercial contracting. As a co-founder and senior partner of Botoulas Krause & Da Silva Inc. she transformed the firm into a leading boutique legal practice, known for its professionalism and strategic advisory services.

Her expertise lies in navigating high-value ICT contracts, mergers and acquisitions, and general commercial law. Ursula’s ability to understand both the legal and business implications of transactions has made her a trusted advisor to major multinational clients. She is adept at drafting service-level agreements, partner agreements, distributor contracts, and other complex legal documents. She has extensive experience fulfilling the role of senior legal counsel seconded to a JSE Listed company.
